Skill and knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development for any country. India is passing through demographic transition which could be the biggest opportunity. Youth must not be made dependent upon pre-established economic model that suffers from esoteric and peculiar troubles. Startup India campaign is based on an action plan aimed at promoting bank financing for start-up ventures to boost entrepreneurship and encourage startups with jobs creation. To give effect to the campaign, DPSRU has started DPSRU Innovation and Incubation Foundation (DIIF). The DIIF strives to combine students, Faculty, Alumni and Industry Association to foster a culture of encouraging budding entrepreneurs in the University by providing right context and navigation with help of expert mentorship, industrial collaboration, administrative and infrastructure facilities at the university campus. We believe innovation is the specific tool of entrepreneurs, the means by which they exploit change as an opportunity for a different business or a different service. Startups through DIIF provide economic independence to the youth and make them self-reliant in ever uncertain economic environment.
